Got a few emails asking WTF, I guess since it seemed sort of slow on the ole Focused D lately. Truth is, yeah I've been under the weather and sort of grumpy lately I guess. Not happy with several things and it seems like every time I get a plan for some fun it gets rained on or I'm sick. Haven't been to many movies, or watched many at home for that matter. I'm in a slump... but it's almost time for Vegas. Also I'll be hitting Buzz-B-Q this weekend (weather permitting of course) and some games and maybe even FINALLY get Sweet Amber launched up at the lake. We'll see. But yes, I'm alive and well.Had a great time at the Hog's game at Dickey Stephens Park on Tuesday night. Huge crowd and it was a blast to see some college baseball in the park, plus the Hogs won 5-4 in extra innings. I'll go back this coming Tuesday when UALR meets Kansas while the Travs are out of town. I only wish there was more college baseball there! In the meantime it's some sort of Jimmy Buffet night tonight at the Trav's game, and I'll be out there.
The blog has been rocking off the charts lately, thanks in large part to this post. I realize most people do as I do and read blogs from RSS readers and such and it seems I have a lot of subscribers that way, but the hits on the physical blog itself has tripled lately, with an average of over 200 per day. The post I linked above has moved into my top 5 most visited of all-time already actually, but still has a ways to go to catch this classic. It's getting there though. But thanks to anybody who reads this blogs or check it regularly. I'll try to get back in the groove.
