Yes, it's already Tuesday again and I can't say I find anything on the CD release list interesting. It's been sort of a slow year overall so far for my musical tastes but Disturbed, Airbourne, Saliva, Smile Empty Soul and Butch Walker all have new CDs on the way fairly quickly so things are looking up. I'm going to see Digital Summer, Drowning Pool and Sevendust this coming weekend so I'm playing all 3 of them quite a bit lately myself to get the mood going. 2 of the 3 shows I've had planned this year were canceled (Paul Di'Anno and Jack Ingram) so I'm sort of hungry for some live music.
The good news is that the 3 bands this weekend sort of jumpstart a good run. Atreyu is town next weekend and the following I have tickets for Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin on Friday night then head over to Memphis for a Tora Tora show on Saturday. Lots more good stuff coming after that.
But anyway, back to the task at hand here's my list of the goodies out today:
