Finally... A Practical Robot
Those rascals at Middlesex University have outdone themselves with what they're calling a "Heineken Bot", a beer serving robot. It takes a pre-programmed path along the bar and if you hover your hand over it's sonar-sensing head and place your sad, empty cup in its grasp it will dispense the sweet nectar to you. Brilliant! Suck on that R2D2, you useless tank of bolts.
