Did you miss 'The Walking Dead' the first time around, or would you just like to revisit the zombie apocalypse? Either way, you're in luck.

AMC has scheduled a March 4 marathon of all six episodes of the show's first season. Park yourself in front of your TV or set your VCR to begin the zombie-a-thon at 8PM ET.

Even if you've already seen 'The Walking Dead,' there might be some extra goodies you might want to catch during the marathon, including a sneak preview of 'The Killing,' an upcoming AMC drama the premieres April 3.

Movie Review: Megamind

Synopsis: The supervillain Megamind (voiced by Will Ferrell) finally conquers his nemesis, the hero Metro Man (Brad Pitt), but finds his life pointless without a hero to fight, so he goes about creating a new one.

Another nice take on the superhero/supervillain dynamic. It's not all that original but they do put a nice twist on the usual structure of things. What sets it apart from the pack isn't the smart storyline though, but the fantastic voice cast and great visuals. Will Ferrell is outstanding as he creates a villain who's as easy to sympathize with as he is to laugh at. His character is very human, flawed but lovable, and I think people will find him easy to identify with. Jonah Hill, Tine Fey and Brad Pitt are all great as well.

It's a funny movie, but never hilarious. I found it to be more of one of those type of movies that I just smile all the way through. There's a lot of big action sequences too, especially towards the end, that look especially great. Visually it's as good of animation as I've seen from DreamWorks yet.

Anodyne Sea

Like it heavy? Good, me too. Here's As I Lay Dying's "Anodyne Sea" video, the 2nd track on their The Powerless Rise CD.

"In my convictions I've found my own grave, but amongst the dead we all fade away."

Directed by: McFarland and Pecci for Killswitch Productions.

AS I LAY DYING frontman Tim Lambesis comments on the video and working with the directing duo; "Ian and Mike have a passion for their art and they brought us an incredible treatment. Conceptually, I enjoyed making a video that is outside the box and with a style that is incredibly unique. I'm proud of the outcome and can't wait for our fans to see it!" Technology played a crucial role in McFarland & Pecci achieving their vision. The video was shot using a custom designed helmet-cam rig with a Nikon D7000 HD-SLR camera and Teradek Cube for wireless video monitoring, both being cutting-edge video products. AS I LAY DYING's Anodyne Sea marks the first ever music video to use this revolutionary technology.

Countdown to Terror Begins on Madison County Website

Countdown to Terror Begins on Madison County Website: "

Something is afoot (and most likely other limbs) over on the official Madison County website. A countdown clock has been implemented so if we were you, we'd keep our eyes peeled.

Madison County stars Ace Marrero, Colley Bailey, Adrienne Harrell, Matt Mercer, and Joanna Sotomura. Nick Principe, best known to fans as the killer ChromeSkull in Robert Hall's Laid to Rest slasher, will be serving up little slices of death as the flick's killer, Damien. The project was written and directed by Eric England.

Official Synopsis:

A group of college kids travel to a small mountain town called Madison County to interview the author of a tell-all book about several grisly murders that happened there. But when the kids get to Madison County, the author is nowhere to be found and the locals act like they haven't seen him in years. They also say that the killer never existed and the murders never happened. However, when the kids start digging around to get their own answers, they find out that the stories may be more real than the townspeople are letting on.

Watch the seconds tick by over on the official Madison County website. For more follow @MadisonCoFilm on Twitter, and befriend Madison County on Facebook.

Movie Review: Stag Night

Synopsis: Four men out on a stag night in New York City prematurely exit an underground train after the soon-to-be best man begins to hassle two women. Trapped at a deserted station and tunnels, these six adults become the target of a gruesome manhunt when a secret gang of cannibal dwellers living in the tunnels discovers them. Tensions will rise as they fight to make it through the night with all their limbs attached.

Yet another low-budget, formulaic horror film from Ghosthouse Underground, but this one does have some merit to it I thought. It's a lilttle bit of Midnight Meat Train, plus The Hills Have Eyes mixed with Creep (look that one up if you haven't heard of it)... as it's really just another film where an event happens which strands a group of people out of their element and the dwellers begin to prey on them. But what I think sets it apart a bit is the awesome setting.... a series of creepy underground subway tunnels.

Also helpful is decent acting from a group of believable characters that it's actually easy to care about instead of the usual jerks who make it hard to actually invest in their well-being. These seems like pretty normal dudes out from some bachelor partying, with the exception of 1 jerk, and a couple of fairly normal girls they happen upon.

Once the set-up is established, there's lots of "chase, stabby-stabby, repeat" as you would expect. There is plenty of bloody, gory mayhem to statisfy the gore hounds and even some solid suspense and tension.

It's by no means ground-breaking or much above a solid b-movie, but for what it is it's a fairly entertaining entry to the genre.

Lenny Kravitz Is Back

I've been a fan of Lenny Kravitz' retro/rock/funk since I first heard his song "Let Love Rule" back in '89. I've got all his CDs and my iPod has quite a nice selection of 40+ tracks of his. So I'm definitely excited about his latest CD, Black and White America, dropping this year and some new music getting to my ears. On the NBA on TNT they have this sweet video they're playing with his new song "Come On Get It" so you can get you some right here.

And my 10 favorite songs by Mr. Kravitz...

10. Mr. Cab Driver
9. Love Love Love
8. American Woman
7. Deuce
6. Thinking of You
5. Fly Away
4. Are You Gonna Go My Way
3. Believe
2. Rock n Roll Is Dead

Movie Review: I Spit On Your Grave

Synopsis: A female writer looking for seclusion in the country is brutalized during her cabin retreat, then seeks revenge on her attackers who had left her for dead.

Yet another horror remake from Hollywood, this one of the controversial cult classic of the same name from back in 1978. I saw that one at a drive-in theater (along with Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things) and was repulsed, but of course I was a wee lad and that was approximately 10,000 horror movies ago. This new version didn't repulse me, I'm about as desensitized as anybody to this stuff, but I felt like not only is it just as powerful but even BETTER than the original in my opinion. I wasn't a huge fan of the original anyway, but this one had me cheering the revenge-seeking woman on.

Nothing fresh or original, but it's well made with good performances and is wildly violent, sleezy, graphic, sadistic, mean and just damn gory. I thought this one felt more "real" mainly due to the actors. I like that the sexual assault wasn't drawn out or as sickening (but yes, still sick) and then when she seeks vengeance it's even more violent and elaborate. And dare I say satisfying. I dare. The kills are pretty creative and she makes them suffer before snuffing them out, satisfying her lust for revenge.

You don't watch this, you survive it. There's a whole lot of tension and it becomes a very emotional watch so by the time it ends it's almost exhausting. It'll be a while before I re-watch it.

Rob Zombie Talks Lords of Salem, The Blob, and More!

Rob Zombie Talks Lords of Salem, The Blob, and More!:

Even more talk about Rob Zombie's latest original film, The Lords of Salem, has slipped online, and you know we're right here to deliver the juiciest bits to you!

Recently Zombie sat down with Empire Online to shed even more light on the project and talk about what's next after that.

Inspired by the Salem witch trials, the film won't be a period piece but will sport a prologue set in 1692.

'There were twenty people that everyone knows about - obviously all innocent - executed as witches in Salem,' explains Rob. 'The basic premise of the film is that there were a further four who actually were witches, who were killed secretly, and vowed one day to return to wreak havoc on Salem's descendants. That's when the movie jumps ahead to the present day and things start to go wrong... Lords of Salem is probably the bleakest of all my films,' Rob adds. 'It's only gonna get worse!'

When asked what's next after Lords, Zombie still hopes to make Tyrannosaurus Rex but has backed out of directing The Blob.

'I didn't want to do another remake,' he tells Empire. 'You just can't win. If it's too similar to the original, everybody wonders what the point was, but if it's too different, everybody complains that it's... too different! I found especially with Halloween II that everyone talked about what it wasn't and not what it was: 'you can't do that with Michael Myers; you can't do that with Loomis...' It's like people have a set of rules in their minds about how these things should function, and you can't work like that.'

Truer words have never been spoken. If all goes as planned, shooting will begin on April 18th when Zombie finishes up his tour.

The film has been put together by Haunted Films, the company run by the Paranormal Activity team of Jason Blum, Steven Schneider, and Oren Peli.

The story follows a DJ in Salem who unleashes a horde of demonic minions (a 300-year-old coven of witches) after she plays a cursed record.

Movie Review: My Soul To Take

Synopsis: A serial killer returns to his hometown to stalk seven children who share the same birthday as the date he was allegedly put to rest.

So here we have Wes Craven's first film that he's both written and directed since his Nightmare On Elm Street days (New Nightmare in 1994 was his last). Either I expected too much or he's just lost his touch, because this is pretty weak.

Let's get what I liked out of the way first. I liked that the actors playing a bunch of 16 year-old high school kids actually look like high school kids and not 23-year Abercrombie models like a lot of films. And that pretty much ends my list of likes.

My biggest complaint about the whole film is that he has all the victims lined-up but there's absolutely no cat-and-mouse to most of the deaths and none are creative at all. They just sort of turn around and bam... the killer stabs them. So when you have a film in the slasher genre, to me it should be punctuated by the chases and kills... and these are boring.

But on top of just being a boring movie that clocks in way too long for what it is, it's just so formulaic and messy. It's too bad too really, as a few of the ideas and the atmosphere got my hopes up occasionally. I was entertained a few times but when it's all said and done it's just instantly forgettable, which then takes me back to the whole expectations thing.

And I saw this in 2D but I can't figure out for the life of me why in the world this would be in 3D to begin with or how that could possibly add to any enjoyment. I can't think of 1 single scene that would have really benefited from me wearing those stupid glasses for nearly 2 hours.

Robert Rodriguez Unleashes Kobe Bryant's Black Mamba

Robert Rodriguez Unleashes Kobe Bryant's Black Mamba:

NikeThere are so many things wrong with the above headline that it's hard to even know where to begin. Still, we press on in the name of horror journalism and overall insanity!

Below you'll find the full short for Robert Rodriguez's The Black Mamba, which has been commissioned and released by Nike. Coming in at a runtime of around six (full of grindhouse style goodness) minutes, The Black Mamba stars Kobe Bryant, Danny Trejo (of course), Bruce Willis and Kanye West.

Dig on it below, and don't be surprised if a feature-length version ends up haunting a theatre near you. Stranger things have happened. In other news, yes, Danny Trejo is still very much Mexican.

Spend 60 Seconds with The Exorcist and Lots of Clay

Spend 60 Seconds with The Exorcist and Lots of Clay:

If there's one thing we love around here it's claymation. It's just so much more fascinating than anything we've seen that's CGI. Another thing we love? The Exorcist a.k.a. the movie that single-handedly ruined the chances of success for just about any filmmaker who dared to make a possession flick. Put them both together and you get one thing ... A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF WIN.

Dave Mustaine of MegadethTiffany Rose, WireImage

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine was clearly hoping his band's ninth Grammy nomination since 1990 -- for the song 'Sudden Death' -- would finally net him a guilded gramophone statuette. That honor, of course, went to Iron Maiden for 'El Dorado.'

But Mustaine and his bandmates still have plenty to be excited about. Megadeth will take part in the first US Big Four concert April 24 in Indio, Calif., along the other three '80s thrash titans -- Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. There are also Sonisphere Big Four shows booked in July in Knebworth, England and Amneville, France.

Whitesnake Will Set You Free

I realize that I'm supposed to be making fun of all these old bands, especially those identified so closely with the whole "hair metal" era... but damned if I'm not really digging a whole lot of the tunes they're putting out. Case in point... another solid track from Whitesnake for the song "Love Will Set You Free". It's from their upcoming CD, Forevermore, which they plan to release on March 29th in North America. I loved their 2008 album, Good To Be Bad, and I expect more great stuff from this one.

Metallica Working on a Project That Is 'Not 100 Percet a Metallica Record'

Metallica Working on a Project That Is 'Not 100 Percet a Metallica Record': "

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett revealed a cryptic nugget of information about a project the band is working on to follow up 2008's 'Death Magnetic.' Hammett told Rolling Stone that it is 'not 100 percent a Metallica record. It's a recording project, let's put it that way.' While that doesn't really tell us much, it certainly piques our interest as to what exactly the Mighty M are doing.

The band plans to work on the 'recording project' in May, and they hope to complete it within two weeks. Whatever the case, we're putting money on the fact that it will probably 'Rock' with a capital 'R,' no less.
