The 9th race is the $60,000 Spring Fever, the tenth race will be the $250,000 Southwest Stakes and the CLASSIX carryover pool stands at $5,384.
What does all that mean? Well, it means I'll be eating the world's greatest corned beef sandwiches, drinking beer, playing Blackjack and betting on horses all day today. It's my first Oaklawn trip of the year too. I'll post some pics from the world's best horse track tomorrow.
