UFC Kicks In The New Year Tonight

Wow, does the UFC know how to start the new year or what? Tonight's card for UFC 125: Resolution is deep. I actually am excited for every televised fight. The only problem is that instead of putting the prelims on Spike TV as they've been doing, it's on Ion, a channel I don't get. Booooo!

MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

* Champ Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard (for lightweight title)
* Chris Leben vs. Brian Stann
* Thiago Silva vs. Brandon Vera
* Nate Diaz vs. Dong Hyun Kim
* Takanori Gomi vs. Clay Guida

PRELIMINARY CARD (Ion Television)

* Marcus Davis vs. Jeremy Stephens
* Josh Grispi vs. Dustin Poirier
* Phil Baroni vs. Brad Tavares

My only real favorite fighters on the card are Clay Guida and Nate Diaz but there are a lot of guys there that I always enjoy watching. The Leben vs Stann fight should be a wild slugfest, and the title fight is very interesting. Every single fight on the prelims could easily be on the main card as well, so I hope they show several.
