Here we go again. The last Starz series I went ga-ga over was the awesome Spartacus: Blood And Sand, and while I patiently wait for a "prequel" they're shooting to that show and also the 2nd season, Starz is bringing out this 8-part mini series that I think looks pretty interesting. It's called The Pillars of the Earth and is based on Ken Follett's novel of the same name. From the looks of this trailer I think Starz is really throwing their hat in the same ring as HBO and Showtime with quality original programming. Check out the website, synopsis and trailer below.
